13 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari.

A safari in Africa is a mesmerizing experience. Embark on a 13-day safari through some of East Africa's best national parks, staying at some of the best camps and lodges in the world.

Day 1 and 2: Arrival in Nairobi.

As you disembark your flight from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by our jovial driver guide, who will whisk you to your hotel in the heart of the capital city of Kenya, The Norfolk Fairmont Hotel. The hotel boasts of elegant rooms that will be the start of your journey through East Africa.

Exploring Nairobi takes us to the Giraffe Centre, where we get kisses from the residents. Visit the Karen Blixen Museum which is a favorite for its historical impact and finally the National Museum for a cultural and historical experience.

 Day 3 and 4 – Amboseli National Park

After a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel, we drive to the Wilson Airport, to catch our flight to Amboseli National Park. The park is home to some of the oldest Tusker elephants strolling through the savannah majestically. Satao Elerai Camp will be our place of rest for the next two nights. In the Deluxe Tents, you can enjoy the ultimate Safari experience sleeping under canvas and waking up to breathtaking views of Mt Kilimanjaro – the comfortable sofa on the large verandah deck allows day-time chilling and viewing of the mountain.

Day 5 and 6 : Samburu National Reserve.

Samburu National Reserve is a famous safari destination among the locals and celebrities. The Reserve borders the Ewaso Ngiro River providing some of wildlife viewing opportunities. The Samburu Special Five is a famous cast, including the Beisa Oryx, Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Gerenuk, and the reticulated Giraffe. The Elephant Bedroom Camp offers undulated views of the giants walking past your bedroom at any time of the day. The rooms are all designed with a view of the vast savannah wildlife park.

Day 7 and 8: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Breathtaking adventure

Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure as we explore Kenya's stunning Maasai Mara National Reserve. This vast savannah grassland is home to over 100 wildlife species, including the iconic Big Five.

Our accommodation for this leg of the journey will be at the Governors' Il Moran Camp, situated by the Maasai River where wildlife comes to drink. Experience the thrill of viewing these magnificent creatures up close from your balcony, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Maasai Mara Plains on your game drives with your expert guide. Soar above the plains and take in the breathtaking views of Maasai Mara from above. (The hot air balloon safari is at an extra cost and is better to pre-book with your tour consultant while planning your safari itinerary).

On the third day, we will bid farewell to our gracious hosts and enjoy one last Kenyan meal before heading to the airstrip for our flight to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Get ready to continue your adventure in one of Africa's most iconic safari destinations!

Day 9 and 10: Serengeti National Park – African wonder

The Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous national parks in the world, known for its annual wildebeest migration. It's a breathtaking spectacle to witness, but that is not all the park has to offer. The Serengeti is home to a diverse range of wildlife, from lionesses hunting gazelles to zebras following wildebeests. Your game drives through the park will surely be thrilling and unforgettable.

Your lodge, the Four Seasons Safari Lodge, is located in the heart of the Serengeti and offers stunning views of the park. The lodge is situated next to a waterhole where you can observe buffaloes and elephants drinking water in the morning from the comfort of your balcony. The Four Seasons Safari Lodge is a sanctuary in the wilderness where you can reenergize and restore while on your luxury safari. It's the perfect place to relax after an exhilarating day of game drives and exploring the park.

Day 11 and 12: Ngorongoro Crater – Wildlife Paradise.

After having breakfast, we set off from Serengeti and proceed towards Ngorongoro Crater, making a stop at Lake Manyara.

Ngorongoro Crater is a wildlife sanctuary that boasts a wide range of fauna and flora. Whether it's bird watching or watching the giant elephants, lions, warthogs, buffaloes, or even rhinos, you can be assured of an incredible safari experience. The terrain is unique and it's hard to believe that such a place exists on earth. Once you arrive at the lookout point, you'll be treated to a breathtaking view of the entire Ngorongoro Crater. It's a sight that will be etched in your memory forever.

Day 13 : Nairobi and flights for home.

On Day 13, you'll get to savor the last moments of your unforgettable East Africa safari across Kenya and Tanzania. After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you'll take in the stunning views of the Crater rim and the tropical savannahs before bidding them a fond farewell. You will then be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha and then onward to Nairobi, where you'll head back home with cherished memories of your amazing adventure.
